It was one of the smallest towns in Alberta, Canada, and it was Sunday morning — time to go to church. My weekend host invited me to go along to the nearest church which was 50 miles away.

Mr. Hunt, my host, made the trip each Sunday and was the teacher of a small class of teenagers. Boring — I thought, but to my delight he picked up three teenage girls to go along with us.

“Kids, I want you to memorize something important that can stay with you all of your lives. It’s about FAITH.”
